Where It All Began
Loeff Bureau Creative started as a small two-woman adventure. Back in 2011, mother Pat and daughter Charlotte founded Loeff with just one tiny kiln and creativity to spare. As the years went by, Loeff continued to grow, and so did our collection of ceramic pieces and artwork.
Somewhere along the way, we discovered how much fun it is to show our work at comic cons and fantasy festivals—and we were hooked. So we did what felt right: we bought a big bus, packed it full of equipment, and (literally) set up shop all around the Netherlands.
As we added more festivals, launched an online webshop, and even went international, it became clear that two people simply weren’t enough. In 2023, Matt joined the business—Pat’s son and Charlotte’s (Lot’s) little brother. With his help, there’s now even more time for glazing, painting, and throwing new pieces.
Together, the three of us pour our hearts into building a creative business that aims to bring a little bit of happiness into the world.
Our Mission
At Loeff Bureau Creative, we make ceramic pieces by hand, inspired by the things that make us happy.
Shapes, colors, little imperfections and hand painted items make our work unique. Everything is made with care, shaped and finished by our own hands.
As a mother-and-daughter duo, we create what excites us and feels right—and we hope that joy carries through to everyone who looks at, uses, or takes one of our pieces home. Our ceramics and art are made to be enjoyed, shared, and loved.
